We are thrilled to host the 2024 North Shore Portuguese Horseshoe Championship at the foot of the towering Waianae mountains and beside the beautiful Pacific Ocean at Camp Mokulēʻia. The tournament takes place during the Sunshine Daydream Hawaiʻi Festival with approximately 1,000 festivalgoers expected to be onsite enjoying performances by both national and local artists as well as other festivities.

Horseshoe tournament entry tickets are available below to individuals, teams and corporate or other groups.

Purchase now and come experience a one-of-kind day at the beach spending time with UH Women’s Beach Volleyball coaches and players while enjoying friendly competition, world-class music and ono bites and beverages.

Funds raised from this tournament will be donated to the University of Hawai‘i Women’s Beach Volleyball Team.

In recent years, this program has been a standout at UH, enjoying tremendous success including winning the 2024 Big West Conference Championship, appearing in the NCAA tournament in 2024 and 2023 and making it all the way to The Final Four in 2018 and 2017. During this period, the team has finished the season ranked in the Top 5 in the country six times with 14 players receiving national All-American honors and 35 players receiving Big West All-Conference honors.

Both Head Coach Evan Silberstein (the 2024 and 2022 Big West Coach of the Year) and a host of current players and alumnae will be onsite and participate in the 2024 North Shore Portuguese Horseshoe Championship.

In years past, the UH Women’s Beach Volleyball program hosted epic, annual Portuguese horseshoe tournaments at UH Mānoa. These events served as the programs largest fundraisers of the year. We are excited to start a new tradition with the 2024 North Shore Portuguese Horseshoe Championship and donate funds to the University of Hawai‘i in support of the student athletes and coaches who comprise 2024 / 2025 UH Women’s Volleyball team.
