Ocean Swim

  • Divisions: male and female age divisions
  • Course Length: 1.0 mile
  • Race Start: ocean start directly in front of Camp Mokulēʻia heading towards Sunset Beach
  • Turn #1:  approximately 270 meters into race, right turn towards Haleiwa
  • Turn #2:  approximately 365 meters after Turn #1, right turn towards shoreline
  • Turn #3: approximately 305 meters after Turn #2, right turn towards starting / finish line
  • Finish Line: approximately 670 meters after Turn #3, beach finish directly in front of Camp Mokulēʻia
  • Open Registration: anyone may enter

Details

  • Time Tracking: finish times and results tracked and reported by Timeline Hawaiʻi
  • Course Setup: Leg #1 – partially into the wind (over right shoulder), Leg #2 – into the wind, Leg #3 – side wind (over left shoulder), Leg #4 (final and longest leg) – downwind
  • Safety Vessel: jet ski safety patrol

Schedule

  • 10:00 am – Camp Mokulēʻia Parking Pass & Race Registration Begins
  • 2:00 pm – Race Begins
  • 4:00 pm – Awards Ceremony
  • 2pm, 3pm, 5pm – Live musical performances by ‘Men in Grey Suits,’ ‘Paul Izak with Sam Ites and Asaiah Scott’ and ‘The Vitals 808’ acoustic.

A Parking Pass is required for all vehicles that park at Camp Mokulēʻia.
