Ocean Swim
- Course Length: 1.0 mile
- Venue Address & Map: Camp Mokulēʻia, 68-729 Farrington Hwy, Waialua, HI 96791
- Race Start & Finish: ocean start and beach finish directly in front of Camp Mokulēʻia
- Course: 3-turn, ‘triangle’ course (technically, a quadrilateral course; see course details below and/or view the “Course Map“)
- Open Registration: anyone may enter
- Awards, Age Groups and Results: awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Male and Female finishers in each age group. Age Groups: M & F Open | M & F 10 and under | M & F 11 – 12 | M & F 13 – 14 | M & F 15 – 19 | M & F 20 – 24 | M & F 25 – 29 | M & F 30 – 34 | M & F 35 – 39 | M & F 40 – 44 | M & F 45 – 49 | M & F 50 – 54 | M & F 55 – 59 | M & F 60 – 64 | M & F 65 – 69 | M & F 70 – 74 | M & F 75 – 79 | M & F 80+. Results for each age group will be posted on this website.
Details
- Time Tracking: finish times and results tracked and reported by Timeline Hawaiʻi
- Safety Vessel: jet ski safety patrol
- Course Setup:
- 1st Leg: ~270 meters – partially into the wind (over right shoulder), heading towards Sunset Beach
- 2nd Leg: ~365 meters – into the wind, heading towards Haleʻiwa
- 3rd Leg: ~305 meters – side wind (over left shoulder), heading towards shoreline
- Leg #4 (final and longest leg): ~670 meters – downwind, heading towards Kaʻena Point

Schedule
- 12:00 pm – Camp Mokulēʻia Parking Pass & Race Check-In Begins
- 2:00 pm – Race Begins
- 4:00 pm – Awards Ceremony & Keynote Speaker
- 2pm, 3pm, 5pm – Live musical performances by ‘Men in Grey Suits,’ ‘Paul Izak with Sam Ites and Asaiah Scott’ and ‘The Vitals 808’ acoustic.
Attention All Competitors
- All competitors, including keiki, must purchase a race ticket to compete in the race.
- Guests of competitors who are 16 years old or older must purchase an ocean festival ticket to enter Camp Mokulēʻia and attend the awards ceremony and festival.
- Entry into Camp Mokulēʻia, the awards ceremony and ocean festival is free for keiki 15 years old and younger when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Tickets
Each ticket includes entry into both the Ocean Swim Race *and* Ocean Festival.
A Parking Pass is required for all vehicles that park at Camp Mokulēʻia.
We are limited to 125 parking stalls. Please carpool.
We have drop-off, pick-up and loading zones onsite that do *not* require a parking pass to access.
Walk-up entry is prohibited.
