Elite Races
- Divisions: Wing Foil, SUP Foil, SUP, Paddleboard, Kayak, OC-1, OC-2, OC-6
- Starting Line: Kawela Bay
- Finish Line: Polipoli Beach (paddle through Polipoli Stream channel). High Tide: 2.02’ – 1:06pm.
- Open Registration: anyone may enter
Details
- Course Length: 15 miles
- Course Setup: trades blow downwind from just outside the starting line
- Safety Vessels: boat and ski to patrol course focused on safety of elite racers
- Awards, Age Groups and Results: awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall Male and Female finishers in each division (up to 48 awards distributed) and the 1st place Male and Female finishers in each age group of each, solo-competitor division. Age Groups: 16 and under, 17-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-57, 58-63, 64-69. Results for each age group will be posted on this website.
Schedule
- 10:00 am – Camp Mokulēʻia Parking Pass Pickup Begins
- 10:30 am – Starting Line Check-In Opens
- 12:00 pm – SUP, Paddleboard & OC-6 Races Begin
- 12:30 pm – Surf Ski, OC-1, OC-2 Races Begin
- 1:00 pm – SUP Foil, Wing Foil Races Begin
- 4:00 pm – Awards Ceremony
- 2pm, 3pm, 5pm – Live musical performances by ‘Men in Grey Suits,’ ‘Paul Izak with Sam Ites and Asaiah Scott’ and ‘The Vitals 808’ acoustic.
Attention All Competitors
- All competitors, including keiki, must purchase a race ticket to compete in the race.
- Guests of competitors who are 16 years old or older must purchase an ocean festival ticket to enter Camp Mokulēʻia and attend the awards ceremony and festival.
- Entry into Camp Mokulēʻia, the awards ceremony and ocean festival is free for keiki 15 years old and younger when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Tickets
Each ticket includes entry into both the Elite Paddling Race *and* Ocean Festival.
All competitors must be an active member of the American Canoe Association (ACA) and show proof of membership at race check-in. Become an ACA member here: Single Event Membership ($10 per race) or Annual Competition Membership ($40 per calendar year for unlimited # of races). Or renew your membership here: Renewal of Annual Competition Membership.
A Parking Pass is required for all vehicles that park at Camp Mokulēʻia.
We are limited to 125 parking stalls. Please carpool.
We have drop-off, pick-up and loading zones onsite that do *not* require a parking pass to access.
Walk-up entry without a parking pass or competitor bracelet is prohibited.
